SINGLES TOURNAMENT

SWCPTC 2010 Doubles Tournament - August 21-29
Are you looking for some friendly and fun competition? Or are you looking to meet other players at a similar playing level?
This year, our club mens and womens doubles tournaments will have A, B
and C divisions for players of all playing abilities. In order for an event to go forward there must be at least 8 teams.
Registration for the singles tournament will be done at the clubhouse, starting on July 19. The cost for the tournament will be $7 per person or $14 a team. The deadline for registering for the doubles
tournament is August 15.
SWCPTC TOURNAMENT RACE
New this year, the SWCPTC Tournament race will keep track of the results of all tournament entrants. Tournament entrants will be awarded points based on their results.
At the end of the season, a total will be tallied and the top 3 scores will receive an additional prize!
2010 Tournament Rules and Regulations
- $7 entry fee per draw must be paid prior to the first match.
- 2009 winners from the B and C levels must enter one level above.
- Each player/team will bring a new can of tennis balls. The winner(s) will receive the unopened can upon match completion.
- Tennis balls will be supplied for all finals.
- Default time of 15 minutes will be allowed, after which a forfeit will be given.
- Please limit warm-up time to 10 minutes.
- All matches will be scored based on best 2/3.
- Finals will be scored on the best 2 of 3 sets with a 7-point tiebreaker at 6-6 in any set.
- All competitors should conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner.
- The Tournament Director will give final decision on all disputes.
- A minimum of 8 entries is required for an event to proceed.
